Dear beloved friends and ministry partners, Love and greetings from India! We hope and pray that you all are doing well. The Lord has been so good and faithful to us even though sometimes the path we travel in life is tough. During the second and third week of July, Surekha and I visited doctors in Hyderabad for her medical checkups. Unfortunately, Surekha’s health and findings are not very encouraging. ﷯The CT scan shows hypermetabolic brain, bilateral pulmonary, bilateral adrenal and extensive skeletal lesions with cervical and abdominal lymphadenopathy. She also has mild to moderate effusion, which means that the cancerous cells have spread to the bones, lungs and brain. The doctors say that Surekha has stage IV metastatic cancer. The medicines will not help much and her life expectancy is short. We continue to leave it in the Lord’s hands. Despite the news, we all are in good spirits. Surekha and I strongly believe that what we are and what we have are the Lord’s and He will not waste His resources. Please do join with us with your faithful prayers to see something new to be born out of Surekha’s present health situation. However, in the midst of hardship we have a tremendous joy to share! The Lord blessed us with a granddaughter, SUMANJALI on August 05, Saturday night at 8:47pm! Please also continue to keep in prayer our ‘One and a Half Decade Thanksgiving Celebrations of Vikasitha Ministries’ along with the graduation ceremony of Leadership Training Center on September 12th and 13th. ﷯ Continue your prayers. In the work that counts, Your Indian missionary brother, Steeven Veerapaneni for all.

Please Pray For:

1. Pray for our travels during the hot summer months, as the heat has already started. Today it is 97 F. Humidity 85%. In summer, our temperatures will go beyond 120 F.  We plan to travel for 7 weeks to different regions of our state, with programs including several outreach programs and 26 nightly gospel meetings, a few leadership conferences and youth meetings.

2. Good health and road safety.

3. Pray for those who stay at the headquarters in Vijayawada to look after the ministry while we are traveling, especially in the absence of Surekha. It is actually a very difficult challenge for all of us.

4. Sufficient funds to continue to run different ministry activities.
